See clearly, live freely

What is Flow3 eye examination?

Every successful laser procedure begins with a thorough vision examination for all individuals who wear minus prescription glasses. Since every person’s eyes are unique, the approach must also be individualized. During the eye examination, an optometrist and an ophthalmologist gather important information about your eyes and vision. The examination results document thousands of parameters related to your eyes and determine whether a laser procedure would be suitable for you.

During your Flow3 eye examination, our specialists will discuss whether touch-free laser vision correction matches your goals and expectations. We’ll also make sure you understand the pre-procedure guidelines (for example, avoiding makeup, perfume, and alcohol before surgery).

If the results confirm that Flow3 is suitable for your eyes, we’ll schedule a procedure date that works for you. The success of Flow3 lies in careful candidate selection and thorough preparation.
The Flow3 eye examination takes about 60 minutes.

The Flow3 eye examination is suitable if:

  • You are between 18–45 years old
  • You wear minus glasses (for nearsightedness) or contact lenses
  • Your prescription is up to –9 diopters

Before your visit, please note:

Have a light meal beforehand so you feel comfortable during the exam

If you wear contact lenses, stop using them at least 24 hours before and come wearing your glasses
