What does a comprehensive eye audit include?

  • Routine vision check
  • Measurement of refraction (refractometry)
  • Measurement of the strength of existing glasses (lensometry)
  • Measurement of intraocular pressure (tonometry) (important for assessing glaucoma risk)
  • Topographical imaging of the cornea (diagnosis of keratoconus)
  • Measurement of corneal curvature (keratometry)
  • Corneal thickness measurement (pachymetry)
  • Examination of the anterior segment and lens of the eye using a Scheimpflug camera
  • OCT examination for detecting pathologies of the fundus and optic nerve
  • Visual field tests if necessary
  • Fundus photos taken with a fundus camera (helps detect changes in the fundus)
  • Examination of the eyes using a microscope (biomicroscopy)
  • Various visual function tests (e.g., colour perception, cooperation of the eyes, etc.)
  • Comprehensive summary of the examinations
  • The data will be thoroughly analysed after your visit.
  • Within 7 days, you will receive a personal report by email or in printed form.
  • The report will include recommendations and, if necessary, referrals for further steps.

How long does the examination take?

The examination takes about 1 hour, depending on any additional tests performed.

A detailed summary with recommendations will be sent by email within 7 days, or you can collect a printed report at KSA Vision Clinic at a convenient time.

An additional fee may apply for providing the report in printed form. To request a duplicate report, you must submit an application either digitally or in printed form, and an additional fee may also apply.
